Story
Silver Storm is currently a cat of the Maplelands. Silver Storm’s family goes back tens of generations to the beginnings of the Cervi cats, and for most of history every ruler of the Maplelands was part of the Silver family. “Silver” is a sacred name and may only be used for the firstborn child of the current adult Silver in the clan.
A long time ago, so far back that no living cat remembers it, the Queen Silver that was leading The Maplecats was exiled by the Cervi after going insane and thinking newborn kits were the souls of demons, and casting them into the freezing winter to die. Since then, the Silver family has been trying to redeem themselves, with the Cervilati helping them become powerful in the Maplelands again by sending prophecies that paint the Silvers in a good light, and manipulate others into trusting them. Silver Storm is the current Silver, and is the first one since the mad Queen to become close to becoming the next ruler. Her whole life has been full of pressure from the Cervilati to be the best and restore the Maplelands to a familial Monarchy. However, she thinks the Maplelands function much better without being restricted to a single family. But she dares not disobey the Cervilati, for fear of a fate worse than death; she works steadily towards the goal of her Gods, fighting against herself every step of the way. She is fearless, stoic, brave, and selfless. She is also slightly manipulative and is regretful that this is her path, and she wishes she were born outside the Cervi, away from the Cervilatus' influence.
Her dream is to run away and live in a massive tree, spending her days weaving feather dreamcatchers and collecting sea glass and lovely trinkets from the human ruins.
